I just moved here a few months ago. I was referred to Shonna by a friend. Due to the moving process and a sick family member, I wasn’t able to color my hair for several months. On my first visit 7 weeks ago with Shonna, she really took her time to make sure she got the color right. I’m a natural ashy brown/gray wanna be 😂 blond with a two step process of highlights and root coverage. I appreciate Shonnas professionalism and kindness. She is very detail oriented. She takes the time to match your hair color just right while putting her creative gifts to work for you in making you feel and look beautiful. The salon is clean, trendy, friendly and comfortable. I had the Malian one and done treatment and my very curly hair was smooth and straight for over 6 months! Totally worth the investment!! I highly recommend this organic treatment. I love going to Oceans Salon. The atmosphere is relaxing and the stylists are knowledgeable and take time to discuss what you want. Shonna, the owner is super nice and expert colorist and stylist. Appointments are always on time. Looking to try a new salon, don't hesitate to try one of the stylists at Oceans.

I've been coming here for several years. Shonna is enjoyable to speak with and does a great job of cutting my hair. She always does those things that men forget to ask for (like trimming my eyebrows when they get too long). The price is reasonable (much less than I paid when I lived in the Northeast) and I have always been able to get an appointment when I need one.

Shonna has been my stylist since I moved to Ocean Isle. She is fantastic! At my very first appointment, she took so much time with me to make sure the haircut was exactly what I wanted, and It was! She cuts and colors my hair and I am so grateful I found her!
