Ocean County Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

I would recommend this place to anyone I know needing surgical intervention from now on. Initially came here via request of a general dentist I was scheduled to see yesterday. But they lost power right before my appointment and asked Ocean County Oral and Maxillofacial if they’d be able to do some scans for me for a problem I was having. To sort of collaborate together to figure out what the best course of action would be for my tooth. What I originally thought would be a quick consultation ended up being a same day extraction procedure. I have been traumatized by previous general dentists when it comes to being numbed. It’s not the needle that bothers me. It’s the history of going to a big multi speciality practice I used to go to down the road who would literally inject me more than 8 ti

Cannot begin to relate how smooth, efficient and pleasurable this experience was. Strange adjectives to associate with a tooth extraction, I realize, but it is true. Every concern I had about my procedure was addressed professionally and with the utmost in honesty and empathy. I would return gladly, I just hope I never need to. In a world where it’s hard to find someone that cares about the whole person, and values their ,concerns, feelings and time restraints and doesn’t just treat them as a # or a $, it is amazingly refreshing to deal with Dr.Mc Donald and his expertly picked staff. Dr. McDonald is a “super dentist” in his chosen field and is gifts well….while also having compassion for his patients…. It is a pleasant experience from the first phone call to the finished event and even better if you have to repeat it, I highly recommend him. You won’t be disappointed! ….

From making my first appointment to the courtesy call the next day it was a great experience. Dr Thomas Mcdonald was amazing. He explained everything he was going to do in the tooth extraction and what i could experience after. The staff is amazing and caring!
