I recently had the pleasure of visiting Obsidian Salon, and I couldn't be more impressed! Booking an appointment was a breeze; even at 10 p.m., their online system allowed me to schedule a blowout for 11 a.m. the next day, with confirmation. Parking was hassle-free, with ample street parking and a bigger lot behind the salon. Located conveniently across from the library and near other local businesses, it's easy to find. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the friendly staff, instantly easing my nerves about my less-than-perfect hair condition. Morgan, the talented stylist, went above and beyond to assess my hair's needs, offering personalized recommendations to improve its health and appearance. Mollie does my extensions (and occasionally color—like toner or balayage), and she’s truly a 10/10. She’s incredibly hardworking and knowledgeable about all things hair. She’s honest if a color or style won’t work with your hair type or texture, and she always has your hair’s health in mind. Mollie is a total perfectionist in the best way possible—she won’t let you leave until both you and she are completely happy with the result. Couldn’t recommend her more!!
