I’ve been going to Holly for over a decade now and I’ve followed her from her previous salon because she is THAT good. Her quality of work is unmatched. She has such a strong understanding of color theory and always gives honest, educated advice about what’s realistic, what will keep your hair healthy, and how to actually achieve the look you want long term. She doesn’t just “do” color, she strategizes it. Whether you’re going lighter, darker, or trying something totally new, she explains the process and sets you up for success. Beyond her talent, Holly is genuinely one of the kindest people I know. She pours her heart into her clients and her community. Jenny is my stylist however Holly too will greet you as her own. Both ladies are so welcoming, caring and extremly fun to sit and talk to for your hour. The salon is always so clean and well kept. I love Obsidian and will never go anywhere else.

5 stars because 100 is not an option. There are legitimately no words to express the overall experience when you come to Obsidian Salon. Holly and Jenny make it so welcoming and fun there is no other place I would rather be to get my hair done. The only good part about leaving is that I look and feel amazing walking out that door!! Holly worked nothing short of a miracle to correct the color of my hair after a different salon botched the balayage. Such a sweet person, so much empathy for my situation, Holly has uncommon knowledge and skill. I don’t need to wear my hair in a ponytail anymore, yay!
