All of the hair dressers seem amazing here although I can only speak from experience about Beck. She's awesome, and patiently listens to what you want and need, it never feels like a rushed job. I have curly hair and have never learned so much about my hair from a hair dresser. She is the real deal and is the reason why my hair is sexy AF. Also the vibes of this place are off the charts, I feel like I'm the protagonist of a 90's girl power movie every time I come in. Highly recommend.

Run, don’t walk, to see the wonderfully talented stylists who run Oak Hair Studio!!! I don’t even think I’d be able to properly articulate the feeling I got after Chris gave me a haircut! As a stylist, it’s difficult to find the time to be able to get my own hair cut, but Chris made it happen with our hectic schedules, and I’m so thankful. I quite literally drooled during her shampoo, and I felt so very relaxed in her chair. Wonderful conversationalist, sensational styling skills, and impeccable perception and understanding to what the clients needs are. This shag haircut is EXACTLY what I wanted.

My first time at Oak Hair Studio and I will definitely be back! Melissa was very nice and did a wonderful job with my haircut and blow-dry. (Not to mention the scalp massage during my wash!) Definitely one of the best haircuts I have gotten. The shop is small and very clean and nicely decorated. You can tell the owners/stylists love what they do and enjoy working together. Avante Salon is wonderful! Alicia has given me great cuts and colors consistently for many years. I get compliments on my hair often. She is very responsive to me trying a new hairstyles and listens to my needs. She is always professional and kind and the salon is clean and comfortable. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

First, Christine is painfully reasonable (charge more srsly); she’s also extremely talented, I trust her implicitly after just a few cuts—she does exactly what you ask and keeps the conversation going throughout so you always feel like you’re being heard. But mostly, she makes you feel seen. My hair has broken off and fallen out from stress and this human says all the right things; makes you feel beautiful; makes you feel seen. I’ve gotten my hair cut in Brooklyn, Manhattan, San Francisco and LA for 25 years; I’ve paid between $150 and $400 a cut with some great GREAT success also a lot of mediocrity, and often a lot of pretentiousness. This is the real deal; a dream.
