Novo Nails And Spa

My daughter and I visited for deluxe pedicures. Mine was $55 and my daughter’s was $90. When the total was given, I was surprised by the difference and asked for the receipt. After reviewing it, I called the salon to ask about the additional charges. I was told $15 was for acrylic placed on one of my daughter’s toes. My daughter did not request or authorize acrylic and was unaware it had been done. The remaining $20 charge could not be clearly explained. When I called to address the issue, I was offered a gift certificate or a credit for a future visit. I respectfully requested from the technician a refund for the $35 in charges that were not authorized, but that request was declined. Additionally, I was charged $5 for the technician to buff my fingernails to make them shiny. In the past

I had a great experience with Tuyen! She was so kind and I enjoyed her warm welcome and service. They also have a point system where you can sign up and earn points for each visit or on your birthday. I would definitely recommend and will be back again. Prices are very reasonable and affordable too!

I went to Novo salon yesterday on my way to visit family for the holidays. I told the nail tech multiple that I had one broken nail, so I just wanted a tip on that one. She told me that it would look better if she put tips on all the nails. I said okay but my other nails are already the length I want. She went ahead and put the tips on, and my nails are much longer than what I wanted. I work at a doctors office and I can’t have nails this long. She used acrylic on top of the tips. I did not want acrylic and I know you can get tips done on gel nails without doing this. I did not want to argue with her because she already didn’t listen to me about the tips, and I just hoped it would look good. It did not, as she did not shave down the acrylic enough. All I wanted was a simple manicure and just regular polish. It felt like I was being punished for not wanting gel nails. Crap job painting my nails and didn’t even file/cut my nail evenly. The nail clippers were never even brought out. No clipping the skin hanging off my nails. Then charged me $15 for that. $15 for someone to just paint my nails (not good either) is insane. Could have done better at home for free.

I was referred here by a co-worker. I drove from Morrow cause I loved the work they did on my co-workers nails, and it was definitely worth the trip! Though they are bit pricey than I had expected, I highly recommend! Ask for Tammy, she exceeded my expectations for sure! I will definitely be back!!!
