Northside Laundromat & Tanning

If you planned on getting a tanning membership I would not! They have a sign out there that states tanning is open, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, & Sunday. Last week, I drove all the way out there and they were only open Friday. This week, drove out both Wednesday & Thursday, again closed. I spent $50 something dollars for a month membership and I’ve been able to use it 3 times in 3 weeks due to them not ever being open. I feel like this is something they should be sharing with customers before they purchase a membership they can never use.

It appears they are switching out the old washer/dryers for new. The old dryers were basically 3 out 7 or 8 worked. No one there to make sure it stayed clean, no vending machines for laundry stuff you run out of or forgot to bring. Not as nice or convenient with supplies as some others others but clean enough for this visit.

After the revamping, this place is spiffy! The washers are able to connect to an app to make paying for your wash easier! So convenient!!!

This laundromat is the dirtest laundromat I have seen. I happened to have a doctor's appointment today in the area and decided to use this facility. I highly do not recommend this laundromat. All the washers are filthy with black and white crud in the soap dispensers and green/ black gunk in washers. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. I mentioned this to my husband and the worker "told me I can go somewhere else if I want. Not only a filthy facility but also very rude staff. I only really noticed the filth after I had opened the soap dispenser but had gotten change, at that point I would have left but the process had already started. It was so hot inside there were no fans or windows or doors poen, I couldn't even stay near my laundry due to the heat.

Update: The hours have changed again but the biggest change is that they built a wall and closed off the bathroom to the public. I have been coming to this laundromat for years. Every time I come now it’s one thing or another. The hours change all the time! You cannot plan to come because you don’t know if they will even be open. Today I come and I load up the washing machines with my detergent and fabric softener. When I went to start the one machine it was offline. There is not an attendant onsite to even inform plus I’m out by of fabric softener (yes that’s my fault) but now I wasted my soap and softener. Extremely frustrated at this point. It’s definitely time to find a different laundromat mat.
