Chris is a professional haircutter that will shave and will line you up perfectly. The atmosphere is great, see old friends and make new ones. As a customer we all notice that the other barber barely has any customers especially when I was there. Some of us breakdown and give him some business. It's a cool place to be where everyone is having fun.

Had a wonderful time and hair cut with Chris. I just wandered in and was lucky enough to fit into his schedule. Chris took good care of me with a combination of clippers, razor, and scissors and had a bit to say about many different topics. Just a pleasure to visit a low key shop that is all about giving a great haircut and giving down to earth service. Thank you, Chris. Hope to see you again.

Northside barber shop is a gem. In a part of Richmond that isn't always the most welcoming, as soon as you open the door here you feel right at home. The barber named Chris takes pride in his work and also his chair side manner. There aren't many places who haven't let their rates skyrocket in spite of the economy. I would recommend this shop to anyone and everyone, especially the college student who wants to save a little money. Wisdom isn't something that you can experience everywhere, but here you can. Give it a shot for your next cut, you won't be sorry.
