I have used Kevin Murphy hair products for many years. This brand is high quality and expensive. I was a new customer at North Beach Beauty Center and purchased a bottle of Kevin Murphy shampoo (Repair-Me-Wash). Upon opening the bottle, I noticed that the shampoo was discolored (it was a yellow color, but it is supposed to to be white), it had a runny consistency (it is suppose to be creamy) and it had a foul smell (Kevin Murphy products are known for their delicious scents). I took the shampoo back to the store to exchange it for the same product. However, the other bottle had the same issues. Integrity is a crucial aspect for beauty supply stores, ensuring they operate ethically and with honesty in their practices. Integrity also extends to how products are handled and that they aren’t

Buyer Beware of terrible customer service from Nicole and the owner. Bought hair gel, when I opened it was a runny mess. Tried to return it and get my money back and they refused. Offered me store credit, I looked at a replacement and it too was a runny mess. Nicole very defensive and talking in circles very condescendingly. Do yourself a favor and buy on Amazon, then you can get your money back if the product is in bad shape.

Huge selection of salon products. Pricing is fair for Westlake. Friendly people. They also give you a free sample product sometimes with your purchase. They carry Unite products too but they grab it from the salon next door.

I love this beauty supply store, it has all of my favorite high end brands and I love supporting family owned businesses as much as possible. Make sure you check them out next time you're in the area.
