Nono's African Hair Braiding

This is my second time coming NoNos and I am once again very satisfied. On my first visit I received small traditional box braids because my hair was very short. I loved the style and received countless compliments. This time I opted for medium knotless, and am equally satisfied with the experience. The ladies are very professional and work together to assure quality service. I will continue to recommend.

They are always so kind and respectful of my wishes as far as my hair/accommodations. Never have to worry about pricing changing as it has remained the same since I started coming here. I visited this shop today to get box braids, as I was looking to try a new place instead of my usual braiding salon, unfortunately, that turned out to be a mistake. I called several days in advance to confirm whether I could bring my own braiding hair and was told yes. After doing thorough research, I purchased high-quality braiding hair I’ve used at other African braiding salons with no issues. However, upon arrival, I was told that they would not allow me to use the hair I brought and insisted on using only the type they provide unless I changed my hairstyle. When I asked for clarification mentioning that I’ve used this hair at other shops they gave an explanation that I didn’t fully understand, but I agreed to use their hair and planned to return mine. Omg horrible! Crooked parts, 2 Pounds of gel. No stitching in the braids. Attitude because I said my daughter’s braids were sloppy!
