I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt like I needed to share my experience. I walked into this salon because I was looking for a decent nail place in the area. They had availability, so I sat down right away. Unfortunately, the service felt rushed from the start. The pedicure was done quickly — so much so that the person who started before me was still getting their pedicure while mine was already finished. The manicure was also rushed. The technician only pretended to trim my cuticles, and I could tell she wasn’t being thorough. I didn’t say anything at the time, partly out of respect — she was older than me, and as an Asian woman myself, I sometimes find it hard to confront elders directly in these situations. This is probably one of the worst gel manicures I’ve ever gotten. Hate to write reviews like this but feel like I wasted my money. The manicurist had painted the clear gel not only on my nail, but around my skin as well. We realized when at the end of the manicure the final top coat had created bubbles on my actual skin when put under the device. She had filed away as much as she could but I have flaking dry skin all around my nails and the nail itself feels damaged, along with having dry hardened polish around my skin.

Great pedicure, and the women who did my pedicure was amazing (nathanna)! But there is some down sides to this place. I should have known when I walked in and it was empty that there’s some cons. Other than the technician being amazing and did such a great job! I def don’t know if I would come back because the unknown charge. I got a $65 peppermint spa pedi and did French which is $25! I also then did a 10 minute massage which $15! My total came out to $140?! I know $65+25+15= 105. I paid the bill skeptical and questioned but they said it was because $25 extra gel? I went back because I looked at their prices online and it didn’t make sense. The owner told me when I went back that it was $35 extra for gel? That doesn’t make sense! I always go to Kay and she is the best. Pedicures, massage, she is consistent and thorough. The chairs are comfortable and my pedicure polish always lasts so long! Thank you for being so reliable!

I'm pretty upset with my experience, i got a maniepedi and gelx french tip, they lasted less than 3 weeks. I have been very gentle with them and they're dropped like flies from normal daily activities. Opening a door, putting my shoes on, etc. The french tip also just looked a little crooked. Insane price ($190+$10 tip) for the quality of the service.
