I highly recommend Newport Wellness. It’s evident that Margaret has many years of experience. She gives amazing massages. She takes the time to get your history and understand what’s going on with my body so she knows exactly what type of pressure I need. She is friendly but also leaves it up to the client to decide if they want to talk or they want quiet.

I’ve been a client of Margaret’s for many years and have always appreciated her attention to detail from one session to the next. She takes time to review her notes and add new issues as they arise to give you a very personalized massage to meet your current needs. My neck and shoulders tend to require deeper bodywork especially when I was working intensely on computers all the time. Now that I’m retired and my body is aging she focuses on keeping my muscles loose and supple. I highly recommend Margaret whenever friends are looking for a good masseuse.

I have been a client of Margaret's for the past two years and cannot recommend her more! I am very picky with my massages and personally like deep tissue massages. When I met Margaret I was unsure if she would be strong enough to get deep into my sore muscles and boy was I wrong. She is one of the top 2 masseuses I've ever seen! It is evident how experienced she is and that she is capable of providing different types of massages for her clients based on their preferences. Interestingly, she keeps written notes on what massage type you like, what "hurt" last time, when you were last seen, etc. I have never seen a masseuse do this before but it is so helpful. Margaret is truly a gifted healer who listens closely to what her clients need. I came in search of relief for chronic neck pain due to a car accident years ago, and Margaret helped me tremendously (I have been doing deep tissue massage for my neck for almost 15 years so I am particular!) She also brought me back to a good place after my international travels for work created back pain and tight hips. I traveled about once a month so seeing her every three weeks was imperative over the course of the two years I was stationed at the Navy base nearby. If you are in need of a massage, especially if you have chronic pain, definitely give Margaret a try!

The first thing you're going to notice when meeting Margaret is that she really takes the necessary time to get to know your body, as wholistically as she can, while taking thorough notes. Since my first appointment, she's been a human who truly cares about my well-being; her focus is to help my pain go away. Having gone to multiple practitioners for my ails, Margaret really took the time to get to know my neck and some conscious + unconscious reasons why it might be the way it is, and intuitively found trigger points throughout my face and upper back that helps me release my tension, and I'm eternally grateful for her generosity that comes with being one of her clients.
