New York Dominican Salon

Visited the salon on 1/27/2026 and asked for a sew in with leave out all around, once i got home and went to work i realized not enough hair was left out. i called and asked them could i come back and get it looked at, they assured me i could.. i drove back to the salon and waited until the lady was able to look at my hair…. she over looked it and tried to figure out how she could get by with taking some hair out without taking it down. she had told me that it would be 75$ to get it redone and i said i didn’t have that when i just paid 160 the day before and it wasn’t my fault. i said she could refund me the money and i would walk out with my hair undone; she then said she could fix it. she took it down and sectioned my hair to where id have more left out…… in the end of all of this i stil

I had my first ever appointment here today and the lady that did my hair I believe her name is Tatiana, I got highlights all over and a Dominican blowout. She did a wonderful job and was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable and gave me exactly what I asked for. All together my total was $300 not including the tip. I would definitely recommend her and this place. Very satisfied with the end result.

I asked for pin curls and a trim. I ended up leaving with an uneven choppy hair cut and Heat damage after I washed my hair the next day. The stylist just flatiron my hair and bumped the ends. She was such a sweet lady but she did not speak English. The lady that did speak English suggested I just get a blow out because because my hair was short but the stylist showed me photos of her work of short hair saying she can do it so I trusted her but she knew she messed because she kept saying happy? You like? I just smiled paid my tab and left. But once I washed my hair the best day and seen how bad the cut was and the Heat damage I messaged them and called them to see if they can Atleast trim my ends evenly and give me a partial refund and the left me on read but OTP said it’s nothing more they

The best Dominican hair salon that I’ve been too since moving from New York City to Baltimore, MD . I felt like I was home , the vibes were so comforting. Yanet was my hairstylist for today , I came in tell her that my hair was damage and needed help growing it back and automatically knew what to do and gave me a treatment that left my hair feeling fresh and healthy .100% recommend !!! 🩵

My experience is always great here at the salon! I go to Nuris and Yanet. They are great with natural hair. I have a lot of hair, 4c, thick, and long. They work with it and each time I leave satisfied. Their trims aren’t cuts which I like. Also my hair has not been heat damaged (to date at least) which is perfect because I still sometimes like to wear my natural hair. Also, I typically always walk in, and it’s typically a reasonable wait time. If not, I just come back and they work me in. I would recommend this salon.
