Maintaining my hair at this length takes skill and experience, and Jacqueline truly knows what she is doing. Over the years, I have come to know Jacqueline not only as an incredible hairstylist but also as a genuine, kind person. I went to New Wave Hair Salon and was persuaded by Jackie, the owner, to get a hair botox treatment. I agreed, but she didn’t even trim my ends afterward—she told me to come back for a maintenance appointment to cut them. I later messaged her asking what product she used for the hair botox. She said she would send me a picture, but three months passed and I never received a response. When I followed up again to let her know that my hair had become completely straight and was shedding like crazy, she read my message and never replied. This was such a disappointing and unprofessional experience. I deeply regret going to this salon. Terrible customer service and questionable professionalism—I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they aren’t even licensed.
