New Look Salon

Just moved to NC and found this gem! New Look is a small salon, but they do amazing work and the prices are very fair. I called yesterday and she was able to get us in today, which was amazing. I’m usually picky about my hair since it’s thin and easily damaged, but I showed my stylist a couple inspo photos and she instantly understood what I wanted. She gave me the perfect color and trim without taking off too much. She also cut my daughter’s waist-long hair beautifully and even cleaned up her brows just the way we asked. My daughter is normally nervous about stylists cutting too much, but she left so happy and already said we HAVE to go back.

Always a great experience. Today I took my daughters to get their first blow outs and they also turned out amazing.

This past weekend, I took my niece to get her hair done and it came out great. So great that I decided to come today to get my hair done. They open at 11am so I arrived like 10 minutes before. I waited for a while for the salon to open, but no one came, and at 11:20am when no one showed up, I decided to leave. I plan to try another salon tomorrow. If this business states that they open at 11am, then they should be there at the time stated. Unprofessional. Such a shame! I really wanted to like this place. Other than that, the hair stylists seemed nice and did a wonderful job blow drying my nieces house.

I am so happy with how my hair turned out. I get a scalp treatment with @The Beauty Vault inside this salon, then Jahira finishes me with a blowout. I am Black, with 4B hair texture that is very thick. When I leave this salon, my hair is blowing in the breeze! I wrap my blowout and it lasts 2 weeks. Love the service and the stylists have made me feel very welcome. Happy new client and will keep getting my hair done here.

I absolutely love this salon!! I’ve been following them since 2005, one of the times, I decided to go natural. They have maintained my hair care year after year. I’m always satisfied whenever I leave their chair.
