NB QUARRY NAILS

I had a gel mani pedi yesterday afternoon. The lady that worked with me was hard for me to communicate with. She misunderstood what I was trying to communicate and my fingernails are much shorter than I prefer. As for my polish, it feels as though my polish isn't cured properly on my left hand, where the polish is heavy on the tips and it has some bubbles and bumps rather than a smooth surface. It doesn't look terrible but it isn't smooth like a new manicure. Hence less than 5 stars.

Came in for a walk in really just for a pedicure but decided to get a basic manicure just for the cuticle and nail shaping really. This has probably been the worst experience I’ve had at a nail salon. They switched nail techs in the middle, the nail tech that finished insisted on switching colors and then proceeded to pretty much paint my cuticles as well. I ended up politely asking for the polish to be removed. She used the harshest nail polisher remover on my natural nails and then got up and left. Would not recommend coming here unfortunately. The woman who did my mom’s nails was very nice but with the cost even for basic manicure/ pedis here you’re not getting your moneys worth as a walk in. Really disappointed with the entire experience.

My mom and I have been going to Liem and Anthony for about a year now. My mom likes the French tip on her hand and Anthony does an amazing job. A perfect fine line, just like she likes it. I only get the pedicure, but I’d go see Liem just for the leg and foot massages! Both are friendly and fun to chat with while they work. We highly recommend both of these gentlemen!

I’ve been here four times and am finally leaving a review. I’m used to TX Nail House quality and unfortunately this isn’t it. Each time I have been here, I am cut during my pedicure. The individuals doing the pedicure never say anything or apologize, and act as if they expected me to not notice why there’s blood on my cuticle and a sudden burning feeling when they dab a solution on it. I have tried dips, shellac, and acrylic French ombré before here for my manicures. I like to wear my nails short, and square with rounded corners. Only a select few workers there do well on short nails. The woman with the table in the front right corner is amazing. Unfortunately she was not there today. Today the worker seemed annoyed when I asked for regular polish on my pedicure. He initially ignored that

Today was my first time visiting NB Quarry nails. I called about 6:15 to see if they had time for a full set and a pedicure. (They closed at 7:30.) They asked if I could go now which I did. I was started on right away. Annie was the person who did my nails. She was so sweet and fast which I love. I don’t like being at a nail salon for hours. She did such a great job with both my pedicure and my nails. I will definitely be going back. It was a little pricey but happy with the work so I don’t mind.
