Nara African Hair Braiding

First I want to say I frequent this salon now for the last 4 years I have not always had the best experience customer service can you use a little tightening up however got my hair braided today and it's absolutely beautiful AWA!!!! Best braids i have ever gotten medium parts light amount of hair BOHO $240 came out spectacular... ask for AWA!! if u want it done right the 1st time

I went in on a Sunday they opened up at 10am.i was the 3rd person in line to come in as soon as they opened. I didn’t get seated to do my hair until 11:40amwhich I showed the lady what color I want while was brown she brought out a blonde I told her that’s not the right color and we argued about the hair color another lady had to step in and got the right color. I had to switch seats 4 times because they were arguing about who came in order and who is braiding which clients hair. I had 3 people in my hair. The one lady which I did not get her name was super nice. There was some very unprofessional and uncomfortable conversations going on as well. Never go to this hair salon if you want them to do something correctly. Today is Wednesday and I got my hair done on Sunday, my braids are literally sliding out from the root. I called the owner informing them of this since I did pay over $250 with a tip added, they informed me I could come back at anytime to get it fixed correctly. I arrive and they send me home stating they can’t do it and I will have to come back tomorrow, everyone’s schedule isn’t flexible for them to show up at anytime. Even if you set up an appointment you have to wait over an hour to be serviced. This is my second time at this braiding place and I only came a second time hoping it’ll be better service maybe but I was unfortunately let down.

My experience with this business was absolutely terrible . First off , they almost pulled all of my hair out with a blow dryer brush from blowing it of from the root to ends . Even other customers were very concerned. Before I arrived , I asked how much would it be for SMALL and FULL knotless braids and sent videos of the style. They said $280 waist length, $350 butt length. After they finished my head and I looked in the mirror , I noticed they were medium . When I said something , the staff immediately started to be rude and state “ i didn’t have enough money.” For one , I ALWAYS pay for WHAT I WANT. No matter the price , I asked y’all gave me a price and did what YALL wanted to do to my head . The only thing they could say was because it was too late and nothing is wrong for my hair and

I called this morning 10/11/2025 to inquire about the price of cornrowing my own hair no added hair. They did not answer the phone. However, they dialed me right back quoted me a price of $60. I stated that was too much for me have a nice day and I hung up. The owner dialed and said, " how much do you expect to pay for braids that will last three months. You think you are paying my rent with $60." She then had the nerve to say I was rude. I've never experienced such rudeness and disrespect from a business owner.
