NAILOLOGY

I have been looking at all of the trendy shaped nails as of late and decided I really wanted to give the almond nail shape a try. Knowing my natural nails wouldn’t work for this I had to step back into the acrylic nail realm after a 12 year absence. I made my appointment at Nailogy on Shepherd/Dirham. Julio was my technician. He was absolutely fantastic. The detail he put into making my nails just right was awesome! I will definitely make my appointment with him again! I don’t know how long I will keep the acrylic nails but when I stop, I will definitely go back to him for regular manicures as well! The shop was very nice and very clean! Highly recommend!😀

I received a $40 pedicure and a $40 manicure, with an extra $12 charge because they used a buffer on my nails. If you're not familiar, the buffer simply makes your nails look shiny as if you have clear nail polish on. I also had a facial wax that included my upper lip, chin, and eyebrows. Everything cost $136 to round things out I paid $150. The only reason I give it two stars is because the atmosphere was nice, and the place was clean. I didn't use the bathroom, so I can’t comment on that. The process was fairly straightforward. However, I was not a fan of the excessive lotion after the hand wax—though they did wipe most of it off towards the end, which is probably just part of the process. Unfortunately, my nails looked terrible, there's still dirt under my nails and my eyebrows ended up

Julio did an amazing job on my daughter’s nails! Having her nails done with “nail art” was on her summer bucket list, and he absolutely knocked it out of the park. I was so thankful this salon offers these services—and that Julio was available. He’s incredibly talented and even has design options to choose from if you don’t bring your own inspiration. My daughter brought her idea in, and Julio was so patient, walking her through changes and helping with color selections. She’s a little young for this, and knows it’s a special summer treat, but if she—or I—need our nails done again, we’ll definitely be coming back here. And if I ever join in on the nail art fun, I’m booking with Julio! Highly recommend! Pricing was fair, and next time, we’ll pre-book online through their website.

Pleasantly surprised by both the techs that worked on me the past two times. I've been here for a pedicure and it has been one of the best pedicures I've gotten. Today I went for a dip powder manicure and I did a solid color but she shaped them really well and she even cleaned up my fingers for dip residue before finishing the manicure. Overall would recommend this place and will probably return in the future.
