Nail Star

I went in last night on a whim to get a much needed manicure. It was later in the evening, but they easily accommodated my walk-in visit. The nail techs all were personable and funny, nice to talk to. V did my nails and did a wonderful job, and educated me on some manicure related things, which I appreciate so much. Their prices are reasonable as well. I will go back!

Highly disappointed in the service here. The owners seem to be very nice and I did come in the last business hour of the day but it resulted in my nails being rush, different sizes and lifting after less than two weeks. This was a $58 service and the lack of care taken with my nails was beyond me. Of course all I can do is make a review bc of course it isn’t realistic going into an asian salon as a black woman making a fuss. You’re better off going to to an independent nail artist, they’re more patient attentive and quality of work is much better

I really enjoy coming here. I always feel like everyone is kind and funny! I usually see Yen for my manicures and am always happy with her work! My nails are pretty small so I know they aren’t the easiest to work with but she’s never complained!

The owners were friendly, cool, and down to earth. I love my nails!! Teacup John did an awesome job! My boyfriend said it's the best my nails have ever looked. I plan on coming back with my mom to get a pedicure.

Not very happy with what I received. The ends are VERY thick, which is unusual considering it was a gel color change on my natural nails, so there's no reason the build thickness. I pointed it out to the nail tech and he only fixed one finger partially because it was a literal knot on the side of my nail from too thick of a coat. Will probably not return, he was not friendly at all whereas all the other techs were joking around and having conversations with their clients. Not worth the money and I shouldn't have left a tip but 🤷🏼‍♀️
