Nail SPY

I've been to Nail SPY twice, and both times I had a very good experience (I had Leah both times, and she's great). They are able to copy designs I wanted perfectly and do pretty quick gel x extensions. For extensions and a design, it took about 1hr 15mins, and cost $115 ($109 cash price) before tip. They file, prep and size nails, and do a couple coats. They can be a bit pushy which is why I give 4 stars, but that happens in lots of nail salons. The nails are also a bit far from my cuticle, and the color is a bit thin so you can kind of see through the nail, but overall they are amazing. Nail SPY is a good price and quality for New York. They also have a punch card, where you get one free manicure on your 10th visit. I'll be going back!

Jennie saved my nails! I came in with painful infections and damaged UV gel nails — all just days before a wedding. I was also emotionally drained after the salon that caused the infections (Ree Nail) refused to fix them. Jennie took one look and knew exactly what to do. She carefully treated the infections, cleaned everything thoroughly, and fixed both my nails and toes with so much care. She even helped me pick the perfect color for my dress and gave the best foot massage. She didn’t rush a thing, and I left feeling confident, clean, and so thankful. 10/10 recommend!

This has been my top choice for a nail salon in NYC since 2021. Everyone is detailed and makes you feel at home. I also love the neighborhood vibe. They are always willing to collaborate with you on a design or in general they just listen and deliver!! Highly recommend!!

I had a great experience at Nail Spy. Their pricing is affordable, the facility is clean and well decorated, and the staff is very friendly. They have candy, helped me with my things so I wouldn’t mess up my nails, and gave me a portable charger to use when my phone was dying - super hospitable. I also appreciated that they have quick dry nail spray. Anywho, I highly recommend. I had Gigi and clearly she did a great job💕
