Nail Lounge

I love this place! This is my third visit, and every time I leave very happy. I usually get designs, which cost around $70 (or more), but I don't mind at all. For reference, the purple nails are my most recent set, and the red nails are older, hence the nail growth.

I came in yesterday as a walk in. (I called ahead to ask) The guy who did my super deluxe pedicure was very thoroug, have a fantastic massage and he was very kind. I am 9 months pregnant and they were so sweet chatting biut their kids and gave me the best pedicure I've had in years! . And he did a great job with the gel polish. Overall, I will be back after baby comes to treat myself again!

The owner was incredibly kind and he was attentive to customer needs. I would like to go back and try to have him sometime. However, the woman (her name started with a T) doing my nails complained about just about everything from the moment I sat down - how hot it was in the building, how much she hated the color I picked because it “runs,” having too many customers in one day, etc. At the end I asked her to clean up one of my nails that wasn’t looking good and she literally just gave me the buffer to take home and do it myself. I’m looking at my nails in the sunlight today and you can completely see through to my actual nail on my thumb and they are super “bumpy.” I should’ve said something while I was there but I honestly didn’t realize how bad it was until I saw them in the sunlight.

Apparently they're closed/gone out of business. Didn't call first, was going to do a walk-in for a regular pedi, lights out, doors locked although their entry here said they should have still been open. They did a great job the one time I went, I'm sorry they're closed. There was better parking too, than at Nail Citi, although I had good experiences there, and they were closer for me.

The Nail Lounge is one of the best nail salons in Lawrence. Great friendly staff! I highly recommend them if you’re in need of a manicure or pedicure. Excellent service!
