Nail City

I recently visited Nail City and overall had a really nice experience. I was helped by Desiree, who was incredibly sweet, friendly, and easy to talk to. She spoke fluent English which I really appreciated because it made communication effortless. Honestly, our conversation was so good that it felt like I was just sitting there chatting with a friend. I came in around 5:30 PM without realizing they close at 7:00, so I was a little late in the day. Because of that, two technicians started working on me at the same time, Desiree began my pedicure while another gentleman started my acrylic full set. Okay so I do want to come and give my edit because I did have new nails done within the time period as the owner did reach out to me! Beautiful work I got Quinn doing my nails! They were super cute and I was very happy with them. But another $70. That was $155 for nails that were cute but definitely not worth that much. In addition about a week after having said nails one of the nails snapped completely in half 😔 I wouldn’t be quick to discredit what this place can produce but my experience this time just wasn’t what I was hoping it to be! I am eager to come back for another try as I’d love to love the place! I just want to come here and give my honest feedback! I made an appointment very last minute because I went another nail salon and they were terrible! I saw Don and he did a great job removing my old dip nails. I asked for acrylic with gel and I am very happy with them! I will return to him before I head home, and whenever I am back visiting!

I’ve been going here for over a year and I’ve always had great service with nails that turned out fantastic. However this time around was not the experience that I’ve had in the past, I was left disappointed. I went in on Monday (9/22) and wanted a fill. I was sat fairly quickly. The female tech, I didn’t get her name, started working on my nails. She was on a phone call the entire time. I wasn’t asked if I wanted my nails trimmed down, it felt very rushed. She took the tip that was on my pointer finger off, but didn’t replace it with a new one and just put acrylic on my already thin nails. She was rough with my cuticles to the point that were bleeding.
