I called ahead of time and asked for price of wash and blowout plus trim and she told me $35-$40 depending. I get there and take my hair down and she says $50. She flies through my hair. I get to the register and the price is now $80!!! My hair isn’t even straight….look how puffy my edges are? Why does it look like ive sweated my hair out b4 i even leave the shop? Never again. Please dont tell people you can do their type of hair if you can not!

I've been coming to this Salon for a few years already and have no complaints whatsoever. As soon as you walk in you're greeted by the owner(Lincy), she makes sure you feel welcomed. The reasons I have kept coming with her are: she leaves my hair just the way I like it, she treats everyone with the same respect, professionalism and cheerfulness. She is very good at what she does.

I went into this salon today 12/1/2021 and asked how much do they charge for a "Wash n Set". I was told "We don't do that" We don't do your hair here" by the receptionist. I then clarified "You mean black people hair?" She says "Yeah, we don't do your hair here". I had my hat on so she couldn't even see my texture of hair which lets you know the type of discriminatory practices are done at this place of unprofessional business. I told her 'I have a relaxer in my hair" and she still refused. I have been to Latin salons in New York and they've done my relaxed hair with NO RPOBLEM!! She wanted to discriminate even though the entire salon had only 1 or 2 customers. What this employee told me was if I was "BLACK" this salon doesn't service me!!! Sadly, appointment TIME and COST negate a higher ranking. Time set at 10am and Cost was to be $95? We showed up at 10am (no owner); my fiancee' waited until 10:30 for service! The hairdresser said its $120. I said no! It ended with a $96 charge ($1 for debit card use). I cannot in good conscience recommend Mi Sueno. What good are estimates and appointments IF NEITHER ARE VALID??? Bad experience here.

The 5 stars is first the hair stylist, she is the best. Too bad that in the salon they do not take customers by appointment, and waiting for a long time in a room with a loud TV is not fun
