Murray Hill Barbershop

Ever since I moved to New York City, I haven’t gone to a different barbershop since living here. The staff care about you and they remember exactly what haircut you received prior. They are consistently giving the best haircut in New York City and are very friendly. They take their time and are very conversational. I will not be going to a different barbershop as long as I live here. Yanni has been doing this for the last 25+ years and I trust him to give me the best haircut imaginable. The rest of the staff are just as good! The cost is not too pricey and you are getting an even better experience and haircut for what you are paying.

It was my first time at this shop today and I’m absolutely satisfied. Maria is an expert at her job and she gave me the style I wanted with utmost patience and precision. The owners are very friendly and polite. Going to make this my regular barber shop. 10/10 recommend!

Seemed put off by me walking in to get my 8 year old son’s hair cut. Very unfriendly and rushed (hair patches behind the ears). Also didn’t pay attention to their own sign outside the door which said new customers get $25 haircuts as they charged $30. If you don’t want to cut children’s hair then just say that. Maybe they were having an off day. Regardless, too many barber shops in the city to go back for a second try.

I’ve been going to this barbershop for many years. I get my haircut done by Karina, she is so talented, takes care of the smallest detail. Everyone is great too, professional and friendly. And now I also love the new location! Highly recommended!
