Ms. B’s Diverse & Trendy Haircuts

It was my first time here. Ms. B gave a warm welcome. There's a chill energy to this place and good music playing. The waiting room is comfortable with refreshments, fidget toys and books. It feels like hanging out at a friend's place. Ms. B listened to all my concerns and helped me find solutions. She also answered all my questions and helped me find the words to describe my vision. I didn't know the technical terms for what I wanted other than the photos I brought. Ms. B was able to teach me the terms as she showed me how she could go about it and made sure I was confident it was what I wanted. I felt so empowered. I left feeling confident and beautiful. Thank you so much, Ms. B! You're the best!

There's no better place in Ames to get your hair cut. Ashley has been cutting my hair for about 2 years now and still shocks me everytime I get out of the chair, put my glasses on, and look in the mirror. The attention to detail is crazy and she's never missed once, always exactly the cut I want and she remembers it every time I come in. They have a jar of quarters ready by the door to come pay for your parking which is like top tier customer service honestly, (cause god forbid I gotta pay 50 cents to park). The conversations that go on inside is like none other, always so fun and something new everytime, it's like going to a friend's house and just hangin out for 30 minutes, and coming from an introvert that means a lot. I don't know what I'll do when I need to find a new haircutter but

This place is awesome! Ms. B and Ashley are wonderful—so friendly and down to earth. Ms. B has been cutting my hair for a couple years now, and I’m thrilled that they now have their own shop. The conversations are always great, and the haircut/beard trims are consistently excellent. Highly recommend!

I was looking for something a bit new and went in with a vague sense of what I wanted - transforming my uniformly navel length hair into something still long but asymmetrical - and left it in her hands from there. I ended up with exactly what I wanted with more style than I could have ever described. Mrs. B did an amazing job and gained a new loyal customer!
