Nick is an incredible barber! If you’re looking for a professional who specializes in old-school cuts rather than modern shape-ups or razor fades, he is definitely your guy. He’s a great conversationalist and consistently provides a precise, high-quality cut. Since the shop is walk-in only, I highly recommend visiting on a weekday; avoid weekends or arriving after 1PM if you want to beat the rush. The prices are very fair, the shop is spotless, and they even offer cookies and drinks to customers. I can’t recommend this place enough!"

Nick and ladies helping at this place are wonderful. Such a professional yet friendly environment. We have been coming to get hair cuts for our 1.5 yrs and 6.5 yrs olds and were very happy with the quality and attention to details by Nick who is such kind, highly professional barber. Also our kids love all the free candies and cookies they get from the ladies after the haircut. This is the best place for adult/kids haircut. We will continue coming here till we live in Hoboken.

The only place to get a men's cut in Hoboken. A lot of guys wait for Nick, but Lena is great too!

My son and I discovered Mr. L three years ago when we moved to Jersey City. His barber shop is in Hoboken - only 13 minutes away from us. Easy access, you can get there by train or car (or bus). Excellent service and price! We love Mr L’s!!!!!!
