Better late than never with my review. When I was in NYC for college about 10 years ago, I happily came to Mr. John Hairstylist to simply get my hair washed and out the door. Everyone was always so kind to me, and I will never forget this amazing business even after leaving NYC. 5/5 stars and more!

Honest suggestion. They are on same location for 40 years, its not a coincidence! Great barbers, very reasonable price! Loved it:)

I went here for a haircut, but the stylist just looked at me like I was crazy. Totally bad experience. I do not recommend this place.

Top class hot towel shave, been there twice while visiting New York. Proper old school barbers, lovely blokes and a pleasure to visit there, will be back next time I’m in NYC.

Ever since I discovered Mr John’s four years ago… I haven’t tried anyone else because hands down the best in their profession.. they are extremely friendly and great at what they do .. all three of them. Also, very reasonable pricing for their fantastic haircuts with scissors!
