A outstanding barber shop facility with a (30)yr experienced Master Barber💈(Mookie). Great safe family environment. A strong pillar in his community always looking to give back & a great role model to emulate.

Surprisingly great find! I was back in Mt. Pleasant and looking for a nearby haircut. When I pulled into a quiet neighborhood, I thought I was lost—until I spotted the Mookie’s sign. The place felt more like a cozy home than a barbershop. Mr. Mookie greeted me warmly, took his time, listened to what I wanted, and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the cut. It wasn’t just a haircut—it was a genuinely pleasant experience. I’ll definitely be coming back.

I just moved into the area and back to the states after living in Europe for the past four years. One of the most important things for me is finding a good barber and today I did just that. Mr Mookie is not just a good barber, he is welcoming, engaging and well connected to the/his community. Very open and old school in his approach to barbering, meaning you will get more than a haircut when you sit with him. Thank you brotha for my “first day of work haircut” and I’ll be in touch and come back to see you soon.

Here in Charleston for a destination wedding. Stopped in for a groomsman haircut just ahead of time and Mookie did a great job.
