Moida K-beauty

Moida K-Beauty is conveniently located near 34 Penn Station. The store is very organized, clean, well stocked and has clear labelings for their products. The staff is very friendly and always there to help with your questions. They have so many popular brands under one roof including Some By Mi, Tocobo, Needly, and much more. You can find basic products such as sunscreen, pimple patch, cleansing oil, sheet masks, etc. and the great thing is that many of these products are vegan. 🌱 I went on their opening day to check them out and ended up getting the Goodal Vitamin C Dark Spot Care Cream. I also received some gifts and samples.

Moida has a decent selection but what is going on with the prices? I had to ask the salesperson if the prices were in dollars because none of them made sense. Everything is marked up over list price at least $5-$10. I.E the Pyungkang Yul Black Tea Essence Eye Cream is $27 on Pyungkang’s official site but Moida is charging $34. Beauty of Joseon serums are $17 on the BOJ site but Moida is charging $27?!? There’s absolutely no way I can justify this pricing gouging. You can go shop K Beauty at reasonable costs at Kosette on 32nd St (they mark up too but to a lesser degree) or Senti Senti in Chinatown. You can also shop online at Amazon or Soko Glam for true list prices or cheaper. If they were marked up like $1 or $2 I could understand - and may even purchase out of convenience. But to ma
