Just moved here from Florida and it took me forever to wanna find another nails artist. Coming into modern nails definitely took my uncomfortable feelings away. I work a very demanding schedule, and so i tend to only have time later on in the day to make it to their shop. Every time, i come for a pedicure and fill in, with my Pinterest board of nail art and they always accept me. That alone amazing and so appreciative of them to make the time (not to mention they are usually so busy!). But the nail art skills May has!! Amazing! Everyone of the photos i have showed her for inspiration, May has NAILED! Will definitely continue to return, as i really do enjoy the atmosphere and welcoming team as much as i do the spot on nails technicians!

The work is probably the best in Toccoa, which is to their advantage, because they are notorious for up charging and not notifying the customer. No, I’m not cheap but I like transparency. For example, last time they up charged me for doing 3 different colors. No design, just solid nails but 3 different colors. If I would have known, I would have stuck to just 2. It’s not like I can take it back after the fact. Then today, they up-charged me for doing a French tip, even though their price is listed on the board. Also, it’s hard to communicate what I want because no one seems to speak English fluently enough. They just look at the customer like we’re dumb and start talking Vietnamese with each other.

Hate to write this. Have had some great nails the last few times… unfortunately I went and got a gel pedicure Friday and nails are already chipped… was talked into a gel manicure and nails are already lifting pealing application was horrible… lumps in the gel. Over all very disappointing…

Uncle Jack was the best!!! He did the best stiletto nails, he shaped them perfectly, and anyone who gets this style knows how difficult it can be to find someone that can get it perfect!
