Short version: dip nails all had VERY noticeable black streaks. Owner was incredibly NASTY even though I have been a client for years. Long version: Been a regular client for 5+ years. Today, my dip nails have black streaks that I noticed as soon as I stepped outside. The owner kept ibsisting only 1 nail (still 1 too many) had the black streaks. Even in the sunlight, he insisted it was only 1. When I LITERALLY pointed out the streaks on EVERY nail, he agreed there were streaks but said "They're only nails. You can still wear these." I didn't ask for a refund but did ask that my next appt (in 2 weeks) was comped. He offered half price because "the work had already been done". That's like ordering a vanilla cake, receiving chocolate, then told me would be half price to have the cake remade

I just had one of the worst experiences at this salon. Shely (or Shelby) did my Dazzle Dry manicure and clearly had no idea how to apply it properly. She rushed through the process, didn’t let the polish dry between coats, and gave me attitude when I asked about it. I left with nails full of bumps and an awful mood and I’m heading on vacation knowing this manicure won’t even last a few days. I’ve been a loyal client every two weeks, but after today, I will never come back. The manager didn’t do anything to help or make it right. Totally disappointing.

I’m very satisfied with my experience at Modern Nails and Spa. I had a manicure and a pedicure and both were done perfectly. Leslie and Nelida are absolutely amazing — so friendly, professional, and attentive to detail. I felt very well taken care of and will definitely come back. Highly recommend!

My gel manicure worked out perfectly and actually stayed well kept for awhile. They took me without an appointment which was great as well, however I was left with a sour taste in my mouth when I tried to use a giftcard and they charged me an additional $3.00 assuming the person (8+ months ago) paid for the giftcard with a CC, however, if she did, they should’ve put the CC amount on the giftcard ? I’m not sure if I’m wrong here, but I thought charging me just $3 on top of a gift card is just wrong.

Finally found the place with minimum words and maximum performance. Jocelyn did a great job Gelling the nails. I just walked in and 45 minutes later I was ready to leave. 7% discount also for cash payment and the ATM machine in the salon were good idea!
