Modern Nails in LaVale MD

I went this morning and got a full set which turned out absolutely horrible. I was so frustrated and just wanted to get out of there. I left and went straight to another salon nearby to have them redone. Modern Nails charged me $55 then I had to pay another $50 at the other salon to have them fixed. So unacceptable for a business. I will not be a return customer.

I have been fighting for my life trying to find a good place to get my nails done and I found my place!!! They do amazing work and they are so kind and attentive to your needs! The people there are great to talk with as well. Lee gave me a wonderful relaxing pedicure and Megan did these gorgeous acrylics attached in pictures. They have nail art, rhinestones, over 5 different nail shapes to choose from and the nail techs here will consult with you if you want something big and glamorous done to make sure you get the most bang for your buck. This place was recommended to me by a friend and I will definitely be back!! Highly recommend this place to others and I'm telling all my friends! ❤️❤️

I was nervous about trying a new nail salon, wow, this place is amazing. Amie the woman who did my nails is amazing. She is super sweet, and made me feel like I was home. My nails are beautiful and so is the pretty flower she painted herself that is on my ring finger nails. She even hand painted the French tips, which I never see done anymore. Absolutely loved my service! My technician Johanna (station 2) was absolutely incredible, attention to detail and knocked my inspo pic out of the park! She was gentle, kind and did a wonderful job on my eyebrows too!

Let me start off the review with I never leave reviews for places because I don’t like critiquing and I get upset but not this upset. I’ve gotten my nails done for the past 6 years or so. I’m not a professional but I do know when there’s good and bad work. So if you want an HONEST review. Keep reading. I have NEVER been so upset after getting my nails done. I had acrylics on that were over due for almost a month. So decent nail growth. He asked me if I wanted short, I said yes. Thinking he would just trim them. He took regular fingernail clippers and clipped the acrylic off. Which hurt. You’re supposed to soak acrylic off. My nails are extremely short. I hate super short nails. I asked for almond. I don’t even know what you would call the “shape” he gave me. He did not cut or file my nails
