Mistyfied Hair Salon

I moved to the area last year and was desperate to find a place nearby. I looked up a bunch of places and read reviews. Old reviews, new reviews were all really positive and so I decided to try them out. This place is really great. I loved the Halloween and Christmas decor lol. Everyone is really friendly. I've had Nicole cut, dye, style my hair a few times now and she's done a great job each time. She also did my hair for a wedding and it looked awesome (pic is after having it like this all day, still looks cute at the end of a long, long day, lol). Went last week and got cut and dyed again. My hair has been feeling and looking healthy ever since I started going here. 5 stars 🌟 well deserved! First pic is after first visit, second is from the wedding.

I've never left a review anywhere before, but I really gotta shout this place out! Everyone there is so sweet, the atmosphere is really calming and relaxing, and my hair's felt the best it has in over a decade. I got so much good info from my stylist too (it was a breath of fresh air to get some advice after taking a set-it-and-forget-it approach with my hair for so long). 50% off the first visit is crazy too. The cheapest and best cut I've gotten since I can remember.

Today was my first visit to Mystified- and I really wish I would have gone much earlier! I had a haircut appointment with Julia. I walked in and the first hairdresser that greeted me so kindly actually introduced herself to me as Julia and said I’d be with her today. She offered me tea, coffee and water and then even asked if I wanted ice in my water. She offered to hang up my coat for me. The inside of the salon was decorated very stylishly with different metal tones, mirror artwork, grays, reds, and unique light fixtures. I have been growing out my hair color for a couple years and I have not had it cut in almost a year and Julia helped me figure out a good estimate of the trim my hair needed (1-1.5” which I was expecting and fine with). I had an absolutely wonderful experience here. I had never been to a salon prior to my visit here. I've always wanted a perm, however finding a salon that offered perm services was far and few between! I gave this place a call and scheduled a consultation where I met my hair stylist Julia. We went over in detail my hair goals and she made sure I understood possible outcomes of my hair and the maintenance of the perm. She also consulted with the other stylists, which I really really respected, and had them give their opinion as to whether or not a perm would be a suitable option for my hair. Everyone was kind and very meticulous. Everything went well with the consultation, I was recommended a trim to remove any damaged ends and to determine the status of my hair while wet.
