Mission Nails & Spa

My sisters and I came to Santa Cruz for a sister weekend and decided to get our nails done. We called a few days ahead to let them know we were coming, and they scheduled all of us with no problem. They even had us come in about 30 minutes before the shop officially opened, greeted us warmly, and got started right away. During the entire service, they kept checking in to make sure the shape and color were exactly what we wanted, which I really appreciated. After my nails were finished, I was surprised with a shoulder, neck, face, and head massage, along with an arm and hand massage! I wasn’t expecting that at all. They did it for all four of my sisters too, and it made the experience feel extra special. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and we all left feeling happy and relaxed. High

They were able to accommodate me the day of but man does this place get busy (fine if you have a flexible schedule)! I was lucky to get in and am so glad to have cute toes for tonight. It took about 2 hours for the pedicure tx I chose for $40. The massage was great and so was the callus removal. It was a nice experience overall. Thank you!!

First and only time customer. I had a pedicure that entailed 3 different women working on me for nearly 3 hours! I thought they might be in training, and had to ask to have my nails cut. They put on the wrong polish and then I had to ask for them to paint the tips of my nails. They didn't do a base coat or a top coat. I had to pay $50 for a lumpy mess that I had to have completely redone elsewhere. I've never experienced this level of carelessness before and was told if I don't like it I could return in a week! I'll never return.

Everything was wrong. We had a reservation, but we were served last. It took 3:55 hours to get a gel manicure and pedicure . . . except they refused to do a gel pedicure for me or a gel anything for my sister. My sister's regular pedicure wasn't done properly, so it was still wet the next day and was ruined from normal activities. My gel manicure chipped the next day. Less than a week later, and all my nails are ruined and breaking. Just look at the photos! This may have been the worst nail salon experience I've ever had.

I went in to relax and get a mani and pedi, but it turned out to be my worst nail salon experience. There was no air or AC running, the water they served was warm, and the employees didn’t seem to understand my service requests. They couldn’t find the color I wanted, and while I was visibly frustrated and overheated, two employees just kept laughing, which made me feel even more uncomfortable. The only positive part was the woman who did my pedicure—she was patient and kind, so I made sure to tip her. Unfortunately, the pedicure itself wasn’t even finished. They kept walking away, left my nails half-done with tools sitting there, and the service overall was just awful. I told the manager I would only pay for the pedi, but I walked out frustrated instead of relaxed. Definitely not the expe
