I saw Briana last weekend to fix up a haircut that I had received months ago and didn't like. I decided to go to Ms. Laura's and see Briana since my coworker had gone the week before and loved the way her hair came out. Briana was very attentive to what I wanted and gave her input as well. Though I couldn't tell right away if I liked the cut because it was styled different from how I usually do it, when I showered and let it air dry the next day, I was super happy with it! She did such a fantastic job and was very sweet. Definitely going back there next time I need a cut!

It's hard to see into Miss Laura's from the street, so I was pleasantly surprised to find a busy, friendly, buzz of activity inside. I wanted to change up my hairstyle and add some color that my current salon didn't carry, and Miss Laura's was where other friends and students have gone. Everyone was welcoming and collegial, and took time to consult with me about what I wanted and to suggest other options. Socially, the place feels more like a neighborhood (or perhaps a barbershop) than a typical salon. I'm looking forward to my appointment this week!

After I gave birth in May I wanted a fresh hair cut. They told me Miss Laura was on vacation but another girl (who I can’t remember her name)can see you. I was happy to look better after delivery. Instead I ended up looking even worst. Layers were so awful that took 3 hair cuts to fix my hair. They were so uneven that they asked me if a 5 year old cut my hair. The stylist was in a music band but that is all I can remember. I called back after my hair cut and asked if I could come back and fix my layers the next day and the lady on the phone told me she will call back after she talks with the owner. Miss Laura's is the kind of place you go to if you want a fabulous chic maintainable haircut/color that fits your lifestyle free of any pretentious tomfoolery. I honestly have had better haircuts with Dominique at Miss Laura's than at any high end Newbury St salon. I personally cannot stand the feeling of most hair products (gel and hairspray feel crunchy and styling wax feels sticky) the lovely Miss Dominique gives me great haircuts that I wear without product and suggests products I can opt to wear that don't have texture issues.
