Miss Dee African Hair Braiding

Worst place ever….. I sent 200 dollars for nothing I came in for small knotless in the back and braids in the front and this what I got

Was looking for someone to braid my hair for a upcoming trip I have , so after I google and read reviews on some of the shops in the area I was a little hesitant especially about the rudeness I knew that wouldn’t work for me ..Then I was told about Dee African Braids My hair is natural and I don’t do heat or braids or wigs not to many protective styles at all.. when it grow I usually go get it cut pretty short (barber shop cut) but wanted to grow it out some . So I reach out to Dee told her that I have Natural hair probably no more than 2 inches or so she ask me to send her a pic so she could see if she could braid it so I did ! She said Yes so I was scheduled for a Saturday morning appointment(2/20) fortunately Dee call me a day before and said if I could come in she would take me..

Definitely not the style I showed her or even asked for. I was very specific and even sent pictures. The end result plain box braids 🙄 her braids are neat but if I ask for a style then that is what I want for 185 dollars and I provided my own color which isn't included.

Miss Dee told me to have my mom come in at 6am to get her hair braided. I called her phone and it was ringing at first and then it went to voicemail. We are not from S. Carolina and was looking for a reliable person to help with our hair. Well my mom has been there since 5:45AM waiting at her shop and it is now 6:22AM. Who in they right mind would have a elder come to them at 6AM in a unknown place to get her hair braided? I suppose to have a appointment with her this evening. I will not be present

I would have highly recommend the salon up until today... My sister had an appointment at 3:00 pm, but they didn’t get started on her hair until almost 7:00 pm. I was so disappointed because I was referred to Dee because of her work, but I’m sorry, you don’t run a business this way. When I called Dee, her husband answered the phone and said they’re coming from Columbia, OMG...By now, I’m smh, If she was a walk in, then yes, she should have waited a couple of hours but that was so unprofessional in every way. And to top it off, she told my sister that she owed 5.00 more dollars, wow!!!! Why would you even worry about 5.00 after the time she waited. So, I went back to take the 5.00, unbelievable!!! Been going to Dee for years, so disappointed...☹️☹️
