Mirror Mirror Salon - The Grove

Their first time promotion is not clear. I called and asked if I can had a full head highlights as the promotion and they said yes. When I got there, they said the promotion is haircut and half highlights. I was not looking to cut my hair but I already took the day for this appointment so whatever let’s do it. I ask only cut 1 inch. I cut 4. Typical, not surprise. The part that I’m surprised is that I showed that I wanted to go blonder, the reference was all summer blonde light color. Because of the haircut (chop the blondest part of m hair) and they did the most light highlights I had in my life, it actually looks darker overall. It is a more even darker look. Clearly not what I was going for or paying $300 (this is with the promo, if not it would have been $550). They didn’t burn my hair

Lucy was amazing in every way. She is the sweetest person and really listened to what I needed which was important to me because my hair can't handle certain types of scissor cutting, toner or fragrance in shampoos. I am 57 and I have grown out my natural hair color for health reasons and I realized I kind of like it but it needs some brightening here and there. My hair has been ruined many times so I have been doing my own highlights and trim for the last 5 years. I did a lot of research and felt good about Lucy at Mirror Mirror and I am so glad that I decided to try a hairdresser again after all of these years. I am doing a photo shoot so she made sure that my hair will look awesome for the shoot and it looked even better than I thought when I saw it in the sunlight. Very happy!

Don’t sleep on the apprentice title!!! I went to go see apprentice Maya Daukas at Mirror Mirror. I decided to trust her with transforming my hair for my wedding day and I could not be more pleased and more thrilled. Obviously nervous as it was the most important hair of my life, Maya reassured me and communicated every step of the way. She worked quite fast for the insane amount of baby lights she did and was so warm and kind it was like I’ve known her forever. Never have gotten so many compliments! even months after!! I have referred two friends to her and they are loving their looks as well! 10/10 blonde at a GOOD price! THANK YOU MAYA!!!

The best salon I have ever been to. From front desk to Brynn. I had gotten a total botch somewhere else and spiraled… I emailed mirror mirror on a Sunday in a panic and they got back to me that evening. And got me into the salon next day. Staff amazing and Brynn is next level when it comes to extensions. She knows how to keep your hair healthy while putting in the most flawless extensions. Very special salon. Always good and kind vibes. Unlike other places that seem annoyed when you walk through the door.

First - really really love Emma. She did a great job, great conversationalist, and love my results. I want to make sure her work is separated from the review as she did a great job!! What I am disappointed in, however, is with the overall salon practices. I used to see a stylist at the salon that recently left. Was sent an email from the salon with an offer to come see a different stylist/color and receive $100 off. No fine print. No weird contingencies in the email. Got to check out, showed it to the front desk, and was told it wasn’t valid for me because it had been too long since I’d seen her and they have fine print they have to follow (fine print that apparently we as customers are not privy to).
