First time at this salon. And although the work was nice I was over charged for a basic full set. I arrived with a previously done French gel set and asked the tech if it would be best to get a new set or refill. He recommended a new set. I was told the take-off was $10 (although the price chart said $7). He used a nail Clipper and another nail to take off the previous set rather than soaking them off. One finished, I was given a rate of $75 not including tip. Now I have no problem paying for quality work but this was by no means worth that. I generally pay $45-60 excluding tip for get medium length with gel French . When I questioned the tech about the rate he said this is California and offered to take $5 off but said the rate still did not include his tip. So I ended up paying $76
My review got deleted but I will say it again. I showed up here asking for a Gel French tip. And I left with TWO CRACKS in my big toe nails that go through and are lifting the tip of my nail. When I made the nail tech aware of the problem he claimed that I came like that… no I did not. And when I asked for my French tip a regular tip coat wasn’t put on top it was like a nude transparent base and it looked gross and I noticed in the car… I came back and asked if it could be fixed he asked if I want him to paint over it like come on. I was so irritated I said okay that’s fine I thought he meant just paint the black like again, no! He painted over the whole layers of all the polish with black. And made my nails look really cheap and bulky honestly. Considering I was getting this pedi for my b
I have been coming here consistently for about a year. And it seems most recently in 2 separate occasions. It has been an issue to do a nail take off which is needed for a new set. 🙄 And although the service wasn't completed, they wanted me to still pay. So I'm leaving a post here. So no one feels that pressure and has the confidence as I did to pay for a service received which was for me was waxing. I came wanting waxing and a new set. I only received waxing. Paid. And left so I could find another shop that could go nail take off and a new set without hurting me. At every Nail Salon. You pay for the services received and tip based on personal choice. He tried to charge me for nail remove but didn't remove the nails because
I needed a gel manicure before an event. I was in and out in under 30 minutes (given it was early morning). The ladies were quick and clean with their paint job. They’re the sweetest Vietnamese nail techs that have been around the business for 15+ years doing nails. Parking is available but limited in the plaza.
LOVE this nail salon. So many places over charge in this city. This is the only place in town that not only does a good job, but has reasonable prices to keep my nails on fleek all year long! <3
