MINIMAL Barbershop

I highly recommend Minimal Barbershop in Deer Park. The shop has a calm, relaxing vibe, and Nick F is an outstanding barber and an even better guy. He’s been cutting my hair for the past two years, and his fades are always on point. Nick is a true professional and a perfectionist—every cut comes out clean and consistent. If you’re looking for quality, this is the place.

Not all barbers are equally talented. Had a great haircut with Dre last time and just got one with Angel today and it's the worst haircut I have ever had. I spent 5 minute up front telling him that my hair will dandelion on the side if too short and I don't want a buzzer, it needs to be scissor cut. So if course he did whatever he wanted buzzed it all down and it's now all uneven and the sides are just a mess. Not a great feeling given that I have to work with clients tomorrow and my hair is a joke. Didn't even ask if I wanted to keep my side burns, just took them right off. I know it's only hair, but they want to charge 100 bucks for a VIP haircut, they need to have more equity among talent here. Will be looking for another place. I’m very picky when it comes to barbers but this place is honestly great. I go to Chris J. and he never disappoints! Especially with his tapers. Just tell him exactly what you want and he got you! Definitely recommending this place to family/friends.

My son is sensitive to haircuts so finding a patient calm and kind barber is a must. I got super lucky finding Franco. I told him I only have one goal “make me want to come back.” So said so done. 10/10 experience and the shops aesthetic is perfect! Clean bright and not overstimulating. Thank you!!
