I strongly recommend avoiding this salon. I recently received a Gel-X manicure and gel pedicure here, and the quality was extremely disappointing. Within two days, three nails had completely fallen off — something I’ve never experienced before. The nails felt like low-quality press-ons rather than a professional set. Considering the high price I paid, I expected far better workmanship and durability. Unfortunately, I was also denied a refund, leaving me frustrated and inconvenienced, especially as I had my nails done in preparation for a wedding abroad. There are many reputable salons in Boston that provide far superior service — don’t be misled by the attractive appearance of the studio.

I’ve had a horrible experience of gel polish removal with Tien. I specifically made an appointment with an expert so that I can maintain my nail health during gel removal, but to my shock she was very aggressive with the gel removal and she removed the superficial part of my nail. Im still suffering now 3 months later trying to grow out my nail (see picture attached of how scratchy my nails are STILL looking after 3 months).

The salon is clean and welcoming; their staff are nice and friendly but I can't say I love my manicure. I went in with a broken nail hoping they would do something to fix it, they didn't. My nail tech just painted over it and of course the gel chipped the next day. Not to mention the filing left all kinds of different shapes. 😕 I wish they have more attention to detail.

Love the skill of the technicians here, it’s super clean and everyone is great at what they’re doing. I do wonder if someone older is picking out their colors and nail art? It’s just not very on trend at all, which is a bummer. More microglitter cateyes and jellies colors, recommend who ever orders colors for them take a peak on TikTok or insta for what’s currently trending since everything seems 3 years behind here.

Within 1 hour after my pedicure by Kristina, the gel nail paint chipped off my toe. Kristina was not skilled or experienced at all. My toe nails were trimmed down to stubs with literally no place to apply the gel nail paint. And my toenails were cut unevenly, they are literally slanting downwards. I cannot stand this place anymore.
