Customer Reviews
The consistency of service here is truly unmatched. I am always beyond satisfied with my cut and color, but it’s Saori’s expertise that keeps me coming back. She is incredibly patient, creative, and—most importantly—protective of my fragile, breakable hair. Her technique is exceptionally gentle, which is a rare find. My only complaint is that I don’t live closer; if I did, I’d be in her chair every other week!
It is a nice place and I think my stylist Hiromi meant well, but the technique and care is a bit lacking, especially for the price… While I was offered layers, they were noticeably very choppy. My bangs were not cut very neatly either. Perhaps other services are better here, but the regular cut was lacklustre. At $80 I’m inclined to believe there is better in the city.
Jimmy ruined my hair. I only wanted it to be cut a bit shorter but he gave me extreme layers that are so inconsistent. I literally wanna cry and die right now bc of how my hair looks and I have a trip next week too. Everything is ruined. I can confirm he is bad at cutting woman’s hair. DONT GO TO HIM
I saw recommendations on social media and decided to try out Mingle soho. I booked with Sayuri in the beginning of august and arrived promptly during my appointment time. She greeted me and was very nice. We started washing hair and it was very basic no thrill - 1 shampoo 1 conditioner, not the most gentle but gets the job done. I would say the wash was definitely below average and my shirt was wet, but I’m here for haircut so it’s okay if the wash isn’t the best. I showed her pictures of style I have in mind - layers that start high, so it would give me some volume and frame my face nicely. She was hesitant to say yes/no but said she can fix my current layers. After a 10-15 min haircut, she decided to start blow drying and styling my hair, which originally caught me by surprised but my
One of the best haircut experiences I’ve had. No frills kind of place and reasonable prices. Jimmy is gentle, listens well, and is great at what he does. Highly recommend!
