After getting a balayage 5 months ago, I was excited to return back especially because I wanted a fresh look for my birthday. I immediately started getting scolded by Sheila when I was kindly expressing my vision to her. I was confused to why I was being talked to so negatively. She had a con to every request I had. The energy was completely different from my first visit. I felt very intimidated and uncomfortable especially because I was the only client at that moment. I strongly believe Sheila took the liberty to show a more hostile side of her because the owner was not around that day. The owner is the complete opposite and she was very lovely the day I first went in and was even offering everyone coffee. I did think about not going forward with my appointment and coming back another day

A hidden gem and the best place to go for a balayage! I had an appointment with Aya, who did an amazing job and matched what I wanted exactly. I got a balayage touch up, toner and trim. I am so happy with my hair. I will definitely be coming back!

Hands-down, the best haircut I have ever had in my life. And I have spent a lot of time in salons in my lifetime. Sheila was an artist with my hair. She was extremely meticulous and precise. It is also at an unbeatable price point.Thank you so much! I can’t wait to come again.

They canceled my appointment after I showed up because they said they were too afraid to cut my bangs because the cut is too straight. A hair stylist canceling because they are afraid to cut your hair does not reflect well on their ability to cut hair, especially for that price. It's so unprofessional to cancel on someone like that after I booked in advance and arrived early, if it were the other way around and I canceled last minute I would be charged the full amount. I needed a cut that day so I went to another salon a few minutes away for a walk-in appointment and it turned out perfectly for half the price. I will not be coming back here.

This hair salon is terrific. I had a wonderful first appointment with Shu, who truly knew how to create one of the best hair cuts I've ever had. It truly is a welcoming experience from start to finish. He took his time to understand my preferences and also had a creative art to his styling that only comes with experience. The entire staff, and Shu were so gracious and friendly. I really appreciate their online booking system too. I am so lucky to have found Mimi Hair salon!
