They have not only cups, hats, hoodies, other clothes, and souvenirs. Also, they have some basic personal care and cleaning stuffs

I am a Middlebury alumna, former employee, and longtime resident of Middlebury for over ten years. Unfortunately, I feel compelled to share my concern that the College Store may have hired the wrong receptionist. This is my third negative encounter with this individual in the past 13 months. In response to my simple customer inquiries, he has answered with curt, cutting remarks and rattled off store policies without context, in a tone that felt condescending—almost as if I were a teenager being reprimanded rather than a customer seeking assistance. His behavior has left me feeling uncomfortable and even intimidated about visiting the bookstore. As a quadruple alum excited to return to campus after almost two decades, (Middlebury College 2007, Middlebury Arabic language school 2004, Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey 2010, Middlebury Institute of International Studies Arabic program at Monterey 2009), I was extremely disappointed by the rude treatment I received at the bookstore after asking a simple question and very politely, too. Just a simple question only warranting a “yes” or “no.” You could’ve simply said, “I do apologize but we only sell X” instead of making any other rude comment. I’m sorry the customer in front of me was rude and maybe you’re having a bad day, but please don’t take that out on me. It wasn't fully stocked but I was there at graduation so wasn't expecting it to be. Still had all the swag you'd expect with dormroom essentials. My wife was looking for one particular souvenir that they no longer had. Staff dove in and dug through inventory trying to find it. Really grateful for their effort.
