Mickey's Hometown Barbershop

I've just stopped by and had haircut from Mickey, who is a local gentleman, has been serving over 36 years at the same location. I'm so glad to choose this barbershop to support a local community, such as this. Mickey is a nice gentleman who told me that he may open his shop for two more years; then, he will walk on the sunset. I had a nice haircut, and its price is reasonable as well—not like the others, ridiculously high prices. The barbershop is in a nice, quiet and neat community -- gathering of shops adjacent this barbershop. I personally like to support nice communities. Stay healthy, Mickey and hopefully see you again before you retire.

Hands down the BEST Barber ever!! He did an amazing job cutting my 6 1/2 yr old sons hair using both scissors and an electric clippers. My son had a ton of thick curly hair that was WAY over due for a cut! Micky was super friendly and patient! I didn't tell him till later but, my son has sensory issues and he didn't sit still for more than 3 seconds constantly turning his head (due to all the new things to look at, the sensation of the scisors, clippers buzzing, the water spraying, or the bits of hair falling against his face) Not once did he say sit still! He just smiled and cut away doing an amazing job! My son had a blast! A classic, local barbershop, steps from old Town Mukilteo and the ferry! There's only one barber (Mickey) and he's definitely always ready to chat and share his stories about Old Town Mukilteo over the years!

Always enjoyable. The layout is simple and without a hint of elegance, but the chairs are comfy, the atmosphere relaxed and the haircut is superb.

Wonderful friendly hometown atmosphere. Best of all, Mickey is a really good barber.
