Mickey & Co. Hair Designs and Boutique

I’ve been going to Mickey and Co for 2 years to see Kayleigh Nicole and she is wonderful! Always so sweet and friendly! I’ve always struggled finding a colorist who knows how to work with my dark hair, but Kayleigh does a flawless job every time.

Disappointing. I feel like my stylist made a mistake on my hair, but was too embarrassed to admit to it. 🫤 we even talked about how I don’t do well with confrontation and that if a professional did a bad job, I’d still pay, tip, walk out and just cry. Which is exactly what I did. Blocked out my face because I was ugly crying. I asked for a balayage and pink halo. She ended up bleach bathing the whole front of my hair. Did not return for a 3rd time because the trust was gone. I’d rather spend little money and possibly mess up my own hair, than go to a professional and spend more money and have them mess it up without any care.

I had a horrible salon experience years ago and swore off salons. I went to Great Clips instead. I reached out to friends for recommendations and someone suggested I see Lakin here. Best decision I’ve made because holy cow! Lakin is a fellow curly girl and she brought my curls to life! She gave me an amazing cut and then taught me how to style my hair. I enjoyed the entire experience and will definitely be back!

Skylar was GREAT with my 8 year old little girl! My daughter desperately needed her hair trimmed and Skylar did just what we asked for!

Yesterday was my first time at Mickey & Co and I will most definitely be going back! Kayleigh was amazing! She was personable, she listened to what I wanted and did exactly that. It’s hard finding someone you trust with your hair. 10/10 I highly recommend!!
