Micha African Hair Braiding

I came here for Micro braids and it turned out beautiful. I love how they take their time and do exactly what you ask for. The environment was very welcoming and clean … I would definitely recommend their services to anyone looking for a good hair braider who focus on getting the job done. I would give them 1000 stars

My daughter and I have gone to this shop in the past and they have done good work, but yesterday on 02/07/26 they really dropped the ball. My daughter went to get boho braids. She paid them $250 for a hack job. The sections on the top of her head were all uneven, different sizes and uneven parts. She went back to the shop for them to fix it and even though it was a little better than what they originally did, it still wasn’t done right. Some of the braids are already unraveling and some of the curls are literally falling out. The hair was also mishandled during install. Most of the curls were pulled apart and extremely frizzy. The picture with the yellow background is the picture taken that was supposed to be a correction of what they originally did.

Will never boom again … I am going to go ask for 60$ of my money back . I was first quoted 180 with a picture to represent what I was actually asking for… get in the chair 220.00 . After of hours sitting the ladies proceed to ask me for a ride home .???? && didn’t offer gas money ? I asked for the owner number to call bc it’s January in NWI (snowy) I’ll be there Monday && if SMALL CLAIMS IS THE WAY WE HAVE TO GO ILL BE READY TO DO SO !

I've been to Micha's hair salon twice. The first time we came, she braided my daughter's hair and did a very great job. The second time, we both got box braids. I got mine curled at the end and my daughter got beads put on the ends of hers. Both of our styles came out great. Everyone is always so nice and kind in the shop. We love coming here and will be back again. :)

This is the best hair braiding shop in NWI! I've been bringing my little one here since she was 5 and she's now 13. I too have been coming here for years. They're work is always great and professional. Thank you all so much!
