Metropolitan Nail Bar

*SWIPE FOR BEFORES🫣* This salon, and Christin, saved the day!! I got my nails done at a different salon for my birthday, and was so disappointed with how they turned out (see last 3 photos). They were lumpy, uneven, and they weren’t even shiny!! I came to the Metropolitan Nail Bar (having never been here, so didn’t know what to expect) asking if they could at least fix the design nails. They took me in right away. Christin fixed the actual integrity of every nail (builder gel, filing, etc), and then repainted every single nail. And they only charged me for a gel color change! I will definitely be coming back.

As someone who is as picky and type A as I am, it was SO HARD to find a good nail salon and even better people. That was, until I found Metropolitan Nail Bar and Pink. I cannot speak enough about the selection and attention to detail they provide. I’ve been seeing Pink religiously for the last several years and let me tell you, best experiences I’ve ever had. From helping me pick colors to doing whatever crazy design I found on Pinterest, she’s your girl. I leave feeling excited and pampered every single time. I travel over an hour and a half just to get my nails done, she’s that good. Atmosphere is amazing, prices are stellar, and quality is top tier. If you’re questioning if you should go, book your appointment. You’ll never be disappointed!

I came in with a photo and Jennifer did even better than I imagined. I had scheduled for sip but she recommended nail extensions and did a beautiful shape and file with oval nails. She knew early what she was doing perfectly color matching the look I was going for. I appreciated she stayed late, past closing, to finish my nails- she puts great care and detail into the job. She was so happy I was happy. I think these are my favorite nails ever!

The paint job is great! But I’ve never been cut so many times in my entire life. I have cuts on my fingers and toes. At one point it hurt so bad I flinched and she apologized but still continued to make me bleed. The pedicure wasn’t even enjoyable because the filing was painful, and she continued to do the same with my nails. Also costumer service wasn’t great, I heard another lady ask another costumer if she wanted a drink or anything before they started and that wasn’t offered to me or my friend that was with me, my nail tech also took a little longer to do my nails because she had to keep pausing to do other things, which I understand but also I shouldn’t be in the salon for almost 3 hours sitting around and waiting when it’s not busy. Back again with my favorite nail tech Lynn - my 2nd time with her, she is amazing at what she does. Very attentive and her work is always precise and flawless, cuticles looking nice and clean, paint job is decent Nail polish on Left hand better than on the right hand - could be due to old nail polish bottle. It’s a spacious and clean salon. Everyone in there is friendly.
