When our local tanning spot shut down last summer, it wasn't just inconvenient; it was a real loss for a coastal town with limited options. Living on the Mendocino Coast means you notice quickly when a service people actually use disappears. That's why I'm genuinely grateful that Mary Derrick Pardini and her sister-in-law Andie Pardini stepped in and opened Mendo Glow. This was not a vanity project or a trend-driven idea. It was locals recognizing a real need in the community and taking the initiative to fill it.
