Members Workshop

I’ve watched the gradual improvements come to life across the shop. I’ve been through other shops and Members is avoiding the pitfalls that the others have not. Quality equipment that’s serviced regularly, power supply is plentiful, a small shop for commonly needed supplies, and a soon to come lumber rack. Project storage options and studio space makes this space ideal for longer running projects.

I've known the Members Workshop owner for over 20 years. He's an incredibly motivated entrepreneur and experienced carpenter. It’s exciting to see all the high quality equipment and tools he’s collected which will be available for members to use. Personally I struggle to make enough project room in my own garage, it’s a major inconvenience to pull the cars out and set up shop every time I need to cut a board. With community space and private booth rentals available at Members Workshop, I can’t wait to get started on some of my personal projects.

As a woman, I'm psyched that a makerspace is opening in a clean, new, well-lit building with plenty of close and safe parking right outside. While I understand why shop spaces are often in the industrial parts of town, it can be really intimidating for a young female client; this space is approachable and with Wisco Kidz Place right next door, the vibe is *inviting*
