Mel's Barber Shop

Mia did a beautiful job on a tight fade and Mel jumped in at the end to help finish off the top to make it the perfect shape for my teen son’s request. This small shop provided excellent service and accommodated us as a walk in on a Monday morning. We will definitely be back!

My autistic son has always struggled with haircuts. But Mel said he would love to do my sons hair , he was kind and funny and really made my son comfortable, timmy is 6 and is so afraid of loud noises from the clippers and Mel let him hold the clippers and assist him with the haircut! Timmy was so overjoyed! We will most definitely be coming back in July for my son and my fiancé to get our hair cut before the wedding . Best barber in town and great price !

They accept walk-ins. I haven’t had a haircut in awhile so $24.99 for a haircut caught me off guard but maybe that’s the going rate. Regardless, I had a great haircut and I would go back. They were very kind and made me feel welcomed.

Nice people, very very bad haircut. $25 haircut it’s my fault for expecting a decent cut. Gentleman didn’t take his time at all because it was a busy Saturday morning, trying to get another person in the chair as fast as possible. Free handed a fade with no guards on the clippers as well as not giving me the cut I had asked for. I could’ve done better doing it myself. Attempted to fix it myself with clippers when I got home. Will not return.

Best barber shop in town! Came here when The Stache had at least 15 people sitting and waiting on a Saturday morning, no greeting, no acknowledgement other than to have a seat. Came to Mel’s and was greeted immediately. Mel and Abe are incredibly nice, and do great work. Can’t recommend them enough.
